Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: January 1, 2025
Vox Via is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Our Commitment
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
The following accessibility features have been implemented across the Site:
- Semantic HTML: All pages use semantic HTML5 elements (header, nav, main, section, article, footer) to provide meaningful document structure for assistive technologies
- Skip navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements, including links, buttons, and form fields, are fully accessible via keyboard navigation
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are displayed on all interactive elements when navigated via keyboard
- Alt text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked with aria-hidden="true"
- ARIA attributes: ARIA landmarks, labels, and roles are used throughout to enhance screen reader compatibility
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Responsive design: The Site is fully responsive and usable across all screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels up to 200%
- Reduced motion: Animations and transitions are disabled for users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion through their operating system or browser settings (prefers-reduced-motion media query)
- Form accessibility: All form fields include associated labels, and required fields are clearly indicated
- Readable typography: Content is presented in a clear, readable typeface at appropriate sizes with sufficient line spacing
Conformance Status
We believe the Site substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conforms" means that while we strive for full conformance, there may be some areas that do not yet fully conform. We are actively working to identify and remediate any accessibility gaps.
